Let’s kick things off with a pop quiz!

Can you guess what the #1 reason why most people fail to achieve their goal? Why they struggle to be productive? 

⏱ (I’ll wait as you think about it…)

Yup, you guessed it, it’s a version of “I don’t have the time” or “I’m too tired.” (Okay, “I’m too lazy” or “I don’t feel like it” are definitely one of the reasons too).

Not having the time or the energy to get started, stay consistent and finally follow through on your goals is a relatable struggle.

But… here’s the sobering truth. No matter who we are, we’re all blessed with the same 24 hours in a day. What we do with those hours is entirely up to each of us. That’s what they all say anyway, but you and I both know it’s NOT that simple.

When we subtract life from those 24 hours, we’re left with well, NOT much. Taking time for sleep, work, eating, school, family and kids, chores and errands, we feel lucky if we have 5 minutes to shower or squeeze in one episode of our favorite show as we lay in bed exhausted.

So, how does anyone do it? This used to be the #1 question I had. How the hell does anyone do it all?! And maybe it’s a question you have too, as you take a look at your day and just how much you have to do and want to do.

You need to plan to be productive! We can’t just wing it and hope things will work out in the end.

None of these super-productive people we’re all envious of can make it through a single day without a solid, step-by-step plan not just for their day, but for their goals too!

So, what’s the plan? Do you have one? If so, are you actually following it or is it lost in a notebook somewhere?

And I do NOT mean having a to-do list, a few things written on a post-it note or randomly scheduled in your phone kind of plan either. I’m talking about a MASTER plan that has strategically mapped out everything you need to do for the next week, month, 90-days or even longer?

One of the fastest ways to become more productive, helping you get it all done, is to make sure you’re following a plan of action, not just aimlessly taking action. ⏳ Stop struggling, stop wishing it’ll all work itself out, make sure it does with a goals planner and a daily planner.
