The greatest determining factor of whether you will or won’t be successful is your mind. I know that it’s easier to blame other people for your failures or lack of success, but before you do that, check yourself. What you think about, you attract. Everything that you do or don’t do stems from what you believe about yourself. Understanding that, the last thing that you want to do is doubt yourself and think negatively about your capabilities.
Many women admit that overthinking is one of their greatest barriers to manifesting the life they want. You might have a great idea for an amazing product, but instead of moving forward to create it, you procrastinate because you let your mind dwell on the“what ifs”. You might really want to apply for an opportunity, but you stop yourself because you convince yourself that you’re not qualified enough for it. Does any of this sound familiar? If so, get out of your own head! If you can envision it, you can do it. When I received my first invitation to be a speaker at an event, I had not even identified as or labeled myself a motivational speaker, but I accepted the invitation. I didn’t know why the host thought that I was best qualified to speak to her audience of women, but I went and delivered a speech. My very first speaking engagement, with no prior experience. Let that sink in.
You can do anything you put your mind to. You can find yourself in positions that neither you or others thought you were qualified for if you believe in yourself. If you see it, you can achieve it. Train your mind to expect good things to happen and believe that all things are possible. The doubt and fears will show up but decide not to be held back by them. Remember what I said earlier, you must learn to separate how you feel from what’s real. If you want to do something, do it. Make a plan and execute it. If you can choose to ignore or push past those negative thoughts that keep you stuck and in a constant state of regret due to never manifesting the ideas in your head, you will see that on the opposite end of that is a life where your dreams become reality. Success is not just for a select few. It’s for everyone ambitious and brave enough to go after it. Yes, there will be risks, but the reward is so worth it. Go for it!
